What are Jersey Girl Graphix Paint Events?

My classes are art....but also entertaining! It’s a great opportunity for a fun get-together for a birthday, bachelorette, girl’s night, couples night, anything!! I will guide you step-by-step on how to create the ‘featured’ wood board art or art of your choosing for that session. Many designs can be personalized! At the end of the session, you will be surprised at your masterpiece you get to bring home.

 

How do I register for a class?

You register on the SHOP>EVENT TICKETS page. Click on the date and session of the event you would like to attend and the site will guide you through the registration process. I will send you an email confirmation once you have completed the registration process. You will need to choose your art at the time of registration. If for some reason you are totally undecided on your design but want the date, please at least choose your stain color and throw me a quick note in the design section with your cell number and we can finalize a bit later. All art must be finalized a week before the class please.

 

IMPORTANT: Because I need to set up your space and cut your templates, you must register - no walkins please. I like to keep the events small to be sure to give everyone as much hands-on assistance as wanted.

 

 

What is included in the price?

Everything! I provide everything you will need for the class: Wood!!! paint, brushes, sponges, wax, template, aprons etc. I even clean up after you are done!

Everything trash leaves with me, I bring everything home to clean. I even bring some laughs and good times!

You just need to provide a surface for each painter.  Tables, counters, chairs, etc.

 

Can I offer snacks or beverages?

For the events at Starbucks, I ask that you do not bring any food or drink in. Please purchase some coffee and treats there. They are the bomb.

For home parties, yes!!! Absolutely!!!

 

What time do I need to arrive for a class?

I usually create the start time with stragglers in mind. I do start the classes ON TIME. So if you do arrive late, I will do my best to catch you up. If you will be more than 30 minutes late, in fairness to you and others, it might be best to reschedule.

 

Can I reserve seats for my friends so we can sit together?

Yes. Please indicate on registration in the notes/art section who is in your group. I will seat you together.

 

How long is a class?

Depending on how much fun we are having! Lol. Usually it is a 2-3 hour event. There is downtime for paint to dry and breaks for games or singing! I kid. I don’t sing. But you can.

 

What should I wear to sessions?

I recommend that you wear “not your favorite” comfortable clothes. I supply aprons for some protection against the water-based paint that I use. The paint is tough to remove though once dry, short sleeves are best and leave your fancy pants home.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Shit happens. I get it.

If you can’t make an event I will allow you to attend a future event within 90 days of the purchased event date (this is due to most designs being seasonal and small class size) A no call/no show will forfeit completely. 

In the event of inclement weather we will reschedule the date and if you can’t make it we will work towards a date that works for you.

 

May I bring a non-painting guest to class to watch me while I paint?

No, sorry. This is a “hands-on” activity. One person per sign.

 

Do you offer Gift Certificates?

YES! Gift certificates are available and make great gifts for any occasion. I can mail you a gift certificate. Just text me. They are not on my website just yet.

 

When does the new schedule of upcoming classes come out?

My goal is to post three months of public events for art. Please “Like“ me on Facebook or "Instagram” to stay connected.

 

Do you take special art requests??

Absolutely!!! See something, say something!  I can get creative and personalized items are my favorite.

Also, I can do a group themed art event. Are you some awesome hockey moms? Dog lovers!? A cancer support group? I got you!

 

I’m super indecisive and now want a different template!!! Help!!!

I won’t let you down. But, if we are 72 hours prior to your event and it’s a totally new design there will be a $10 fee to recut a template.

 

Can I put my sign outdoors?

Welp, yes and no.

In order to put outdoors in rain I recommend THREE coats of a matte poly sealer.

It is not easy to do this at events. Must be done outdoors and the coats need time to dry. But super inexpensive to pick up a can with a friend!
